through a series of alterations and gestures, understudy considers the potentials of activity and affect specific to trans-spatiality. this week is your last chance to see the show artcards sf calls, "outstanding and not to be missed." the gallery is open today, wednesday july 9th from 5 - 7:30 pm, saturday july 12th from 5 - 9 pm, and by appointment.

how can pedestal stairs become the pretext to a love letter in the form of a mango? visiting swiss artists charlotte herzig and anne sylvie henchoz present the third part in a collaboration that incorporates installation, text, and performance.

BAN 7 celebrates the diversity of artistic practices in the bay area by inviting fifteen independent organizations to exhibit at the YBCA. n/a initiates a flux of performative ideas, searching for new language in the gaps and intersections, footnotes and material gestures. featuring the participation of and new work by a.k. burns, esra canogullari, k.r.m. mooney, bryan morello, joel t. parsons, lawrence rinder, nicholas andre sung, lorna sung, and tina takemoto.
