BAN 7 celebrates the diversity of artistic practices in the bay area by inviting fifteen independent organizations to exhibit at the YBCA. n/a initiates a flux of performative ideas, searching for new language in the gaps and intersections, footnotes and material gestures. featuring the participation of and new work by a.k. burns, esra canogullari, k.r.m. mooney, bryan morello, joel t. parsons, lawrence rinder, nicholas andre sung, lorna sung, and tina takemoto.

brooklyn based multidisciplinary artist a.k. burns presents new work through an artist residency at n/a, the doubt it talk series, and bay area now 7 at the YBCA.
n/a is an exhibition and event space with a focus on the queer experience in contemporary art practice, centered in oakland, california. support for n/a is provided by southern exposure's alternative exposure grant program.
